Wanaparthy: A mother killed her son, who tried to sexually assault her in an inebriated state at Ramakrishna Puram village, Kothakota mandal in the district. Though the incident occurred last week, it came to light only on Sunday after police commenced investigation.
According to Nagamma, she and her son Shiva used to stay in a house in the village. Nagamma’s husband had left her long back and since then, she used to stay with her son. Shiva turned into an alcoholic and attempted to sexually assault her a few times.
According to reports, despite several requests and warnings by his mother, Shiva did not mend his ways. Last Sunday, he returned home after consuming alcohol and tried to physically assault her. Vexed with his behaviour, Nagamma along with her mother Buchamma killed Shiva and buried the body in an open place near her home.
After coming to know about the incident, police reached the spot and are investigating the case.
