Hyderabad: Former Minister and senior BJP leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday.
In the resignation letter addressed to the BJP Telangana State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, he said that he was submitting resignation as the party had failed to give him proper recognition.
Narasimhulu, who was with the TDP since its inception in 1982, joined the BJP in 2019. He was expelled from TDP for making allegations against the party leadership.
Narasimhulu, who represented Alair constituency in erstwhile Nalgonda district between 1983 and 2004 in AP Assembly, served as a minister. Narasimhulu was elected as an MLA from Tungaturti constituency in 2009.
