Hyderabad: A motorist died on the spot after the bike he was riding was hit by a concrete mixer truck at Gachibowli on Monday.
The victim, M Krishna (55), a centring worker from Gulmohar Park in Netaji Nagar Colony, was proceeding from Netaji Nagar Colony towards Kondapur. When he reached the Maajid banda ‘T’ junction, the truck which was allegedly being driven rashly, hit his bike from behind. Krishna fell on the road and came under the rear left tyre of the truck and died on the spot.
The Gachibowli police booked a case of negligence causing death and are investigating. Efforts are on to nab the truck driver, police said.
