Moving truck carrying combustible material catches fire in Ibrahimpatnam, none hurt

According to the police, the alert driver and cleaner who noticed the fire immediately stopped the vehicle and got down to save themselves.

Hyderabad: A truck carrying combustible material caught fire in Ibrahimpatnam on Wednesday. No casualties were reported.

The truck which was proceeding from Deverakonda towards Ibrahimpatnam suddenly caught fire.

According to the police, the alert driver and cleaner who noticed the fire immediately stopped the vehicle and got down to save themselves. On receiving information, the Ibrahimpatnam police along with the fire department officials rushed to the spot and after a two-hour joint operation, doused the fire.

The driver of the truck smoking a cigarette is suspected to have led to the fire.
