Karimnagar: BJP State president and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Wednesday reviewed the progress of Karimnagar-Warangal National Highway expansion works.
The MP discussed expansion works with the officials of the National Highway Authority of India at the R&B guest house, and after examining the alignment map, he instructed the officials to acquire the required land without creating problems for farmers. “There should not be any injustice to farmers. Besides providing suitable compensation, requests of farmers should also be taken into consideration,” he said.
Sanjay also instructed officials to construct a road over bridges (ROB), the road under bridges (RUB) and service roads to avoid accidents. In the map, he examined how distances from villages the bypass roads are being planned near Thadikal, Huzurabad, and Elkathurthi.
MP also discussed laying of the four-lane road from Karimnagar to Jagitial and advised officials to go ahead considering the requests of local people and public representatives. NHAI Project Director Kishan Raghunath and others were present.
