MP: Two teachers, student drown at Ratlam waterfall
Two teachers and a 15-year-old student drowned while bathing in a pool at the base of a waterfall near Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, during a school picnic. Three other students were rescued and hospitalised.

Ratlam (MP): Two teachers and a 15-year-old student drowned in a pool at the base of a waterfall near Ratlam city in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, while three other students were rescued and hospitalised, police said.
A group of four teachers and 13 students from a private school in Jaora town had visited Paradise Valley, located 11 km from Ratlam city, for a picnic, City Superintendent of Police Satyendra Ghanghoria said.
Some members of the group started drowning while bathing in the pool beneath a waterfall at the spot, he said.
People present at the site rescued three students in time, but two teachers and a student drowned, the CSP said.
The deceased were identified as Vijay Singh, 52, Prince Modi, 28, and Harshit Patidar, 15, he said.
One boy and two girls who were rescued were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, Ghanghoria said.
Police have started an investigation into the incident.
