Hyderabad: US-based MSRCosmos Group has set up a new startup MSRVantage that will provide artificial intelligence enabled blockchain solutions that will help in anti-counterfeit management and offer supply chain solutions through traceability and asset digitisation. The startup will operate in the US and India.
The blockchain solution offers an easy-to-follow trace of products that cannot be altered, making it reliable for all the stakeholders. It also increases the ability to trace potential sources of contamination helping it to trace the source and hence can prevent and control counterfeiting in sectors such as pharma, dairy and food, Sivagopal, chairman & founder of MSRCosmos Group said.
The company said it is keen to help its partners and customers build sustainable products backed by its AI-based blockchain solution that will address sustainability and traceability as well as reduce carbon footprint.
The group, which has 400 employees in India spread over Hyderabad, Noida and Chennai, is planning to expand its team strength to 1,000 in the next two years. The company currently has 1,600 employees in the US.
MSRCosmos, which has spent $10 million in the last three years, plans to invest $5-7 million every year, going forward, to expand its presence in the IT space where it offers cloud, data, artificial intelligence, enterprise applications and automation.
To cater to different sectors and services, the group has established 14 different strategic business units within the group. With a turnover of $300 million, the group is aiming to become a billion dollar entity in the next five years.
