Residents of Mukhra village in Adilabad celebrated the BRS 26th anniversary in advance and called for the party’s return to power. They praised K Chandrashekhar Rao’s leadership and alleged poor implementation of welfare schemes under Congress rule.

Adilabad: Residents from Mukhra (K) village in Echoda mandal sought the return of BRS to power again. They celebrated the 26th anniversary of the BRS in advance by performing Ksheerabhisekam to a flex poster of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in the village on Saturday.
Led by former Sarpanch G Meenakshi, the residents opined that the comeback of the BRS and Rao was required if Telangana was to develop again. Telangana witnessed growth on all fronts under the leadership of Rao. However, all sections were now being meted out injustice under the rule of the Congress. Welfare schemes were not being properly implemented, they regretted.
The villagers said that six poll promises were not fulfilled by the Congress. They stated that Rao’s return was the need of the hour for the development of the State and prosperity of the people. His comeback is needed for effectively implementing welfare schemes covering all households. He is the protector and benefactor of the public.
Former MPTC member G Subhash, residents Thirupathi, Vittal, Dattu, Prahlad, Narsing and many others were present.
