Multi-storied building of TGBKS leader bulldozed in Mancherial
The five-storied building owned by Dikonda Annaiah was razed using earth movers.
Mancherial: A multi-storied building belonging to a leader of Telangana Boggu Ghani Karmika Sangham (TGBKS) was demolished by officials of municipality on charges of illegally constructing the structure in Naspur mandal centre on Thursday.
The five-storied building owned by Dikonda Annaiah was razed using earth movers. It took around eight hours of time to bulldoze the building. Annaiah and his family members were detained and shifted to Naspur police station.
Naspur municipal commissioner Satish said Annaiah had constructed the building on a piece of land in survey number 42 without obtaining prior permission from the civic body. He stated that the owner did not respond to notices issued by the officials of the municipality in the past.
