Hyderabad: Mumbai’s Ojas Surve, who had the fastest lap time, drove past his competitors to be crowned as the Red Bull Kart Fight Champion and earned the opportunity to watch the F1 2021 season-ending race at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
“I am thrilled about my win; it feels great to have won the National finals of Red Bull Kart Fight 2021. The competition was very tough but I was confident of putting on a good show and gave my best. Red Bull Kart Fight is a great platform for amateur racers as it gives us wings to get noticed and an opportunity to witness the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix,’’ said Surve.
The top 3 participants from six cities i.e. Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Baroda and Gurugram participated in the national finals in Chicane Circuit, Leonia Resort on Sunday.
Red Bull athlete and India’s young racing sensation Mira Erda witnessed the race. was also seen cheering for the racers at the Red Bull Kart Fight National Finals at the Chichane Circuit in Hyderabad
Erda congratulated the finalists and the winner Ojas Surve for emerging as the champion of the fourth edition of Red Bull Kart Fight. “My association with Red Bull has been special and I look up to the brand for giving wings to what we racers love doing. Red Bull Kart Fight is a great opportunity for the amateur drivers to race and have a fun yet competitive experience.”
