Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy left out of Cabinet, says politics is beyond power
After being left out of the Telangana Cabinet expansion, Rajgopal Reddy affirms his dedication to public service. In a social media post, he says politics is about rebuilding Telangana, not holding positions, and vows to continue his political journey
Hyderabad: Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, who was not included in the recent Cabinet expansion, extended his wishes to the newly appointed Ministers and reaffirmed his commitment to public service.
He stated that for him, politics is not about positions or power, but about rebuilding Telangana.
“Even without a ministerial berth, I will continue to work for the people and strengthen the Congress party,” he said in a post on X.

Rajgopal Reddy remarked that working without an official position can often “be more powerful,” and reiterated his intent to stay at the forefront of public issues, advocating for citizens’ rights and voicing their concerns to the government. He emphasised that his political journey would continue despite such setbacks.
The post on X marked his first public response following the Cabinet expansion announcement on Sunday. Given that Rajgopal Reddy had publicly expressed confidence about securing a ministerial post on several occasions, speculation has mounted about his next move after being overlooked.
