Sangareddy: The villagers of Bonthapally demolished a double-storied building belonging to a person accused of a double murder a day after the twin murders were reported on November 14 in the village.

The accused Nagaraju had allegedly murdered a woman Saroja Devi (50) and her son Anil (30) suspecting their hand in the death of his two-year-old son. Nagaraju’s son was found dead in the water sump on the premises of Saroja Devi’s house two years ago.

Though the police declared it an accident, Nagaraju developed a grudge against Saroja. He stabbed Saroja and Anil to death over an argument.

Later, he surrendered to the police. However, in the early hours of November 15, Anil’s friends, with the support of some villagers, used an earthmover and demolished the two-floor building of Nagaraju.

However, the villagers did not reveal the incident to anyone. The police haven’t registered any case on the incident so far.
