Murmu greets people of Telangana on statehood day, hails innovation, development
President Droupadi Murmu extended Telangana Statehood Day greetings, praising the state's rich cultural heritage, hardworking people, and achievements in innovation and development. She wished continued progress, prosperity, and well-being for Telangana, which was formed from Andhra Pradesh in 2014
New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday greeted people of Telangana on their statehood day and said the state has made significant strides in innovation and development over the years.
Telangana was carved out of Andhra Pradesh and accorded statehood on this day in 2014.
“Warm greetings to the people of Telangana on Statehood Day! Telangana is blessed with a rich cultural heritage and hardworking people. The State has made significant strides in innovation and development over the years. I wish the people of Telangana continued progress and well-being,” Murmu said in a post on X.
