Hyderabad: Accusing the Congress government of using Musi beautification project to divert the attention of the people from the implementation of Six Guarantees, Malkajgiri BJP MP Eatala Rajender alleged that the Musi project was only meant to fill the coffers of the Congress leadership.

Rajender, who along with Adilabad MLA Payal Shanker, visited Musi catchment areas in Rajendranagar Assembly constituency on Saturday, told media that the main aim of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was to loot the public money in the name of Musi Beautification project. The Chief Minister had brought Hyderabad Disaster Response & Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) and Musi project only to divert the attention of the people from the implementation of six guarantees and other core issues, he alleged.

Coming down heavily on Congress party for its anti-poor policies, the BJP MP warned the Congress government against demolishing the houses of the poor under the guise of river Musi rejuvenation and reiterated that the party would stand by the affected families.
