Musi project nears full capacity after heavy rains
Heavy rains pushed the Musi Project to near full capacity with inflows raising water levels close to FTL. Hussain Sagar and twin reservoirs also reported steady inflows and controlled outflows

Hyderabad: The Musi Project is nearing full capacity as heavy rains have significantly increased the inflows.
At 6 p.m. on Monday, the recorded water level stood at 643.35 ft, close to the Full Tank Level (FTL) of 645 ft. The reservoir’s capacity is 4.46 TMC, and with the current inflows, the present storage has reached 4.03 TMC.
The total outflow from the Musi Project is 15,643.17 cusecs, with 15,442.28 cusecs being released through eight floodgates, each lifted by 3 feet.
