"To please the minority community, the CM ordered a lathi charge on Hindu protestors. Are they terrorists to lathi charge them so brutally?" he questioned

Hyderabad: Strongly condemning the high-handed behaviour of the police and the lathi charge on people protesting at Muthyalamma temple on Saturday, union Coal Minister and BJP State unit president G Kishan Reddy accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of adopting anti-Hindu policies and targeting pro-Hindu organisations.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP State party office here on Sunday, Kishan Reddy said though one week had passed, the Chief Minister and the Congress party had not condemned the desecration of the Muthyalamma temple.
The Congress was adopting anti-Hindu policies from the beginning and the Revanth Reddy government too was following the same policy of targeting Hindus, he alleged.
“To please the minority community, the CM ordered a lathi charge on Hindu protestors. Are they terrorists to lathi charge them so brutally?” he questioned.
Coming down heavily on police, the BJP State chief said motivational speaker Munawar Zama of Mumbai was holding a month-long session to radicalise youth and encouraging hatred towards Hindus among the participants in the pretext of personality development at a hotel in the city and the police were sleeping and when one of them vandalised a Hindu temple, the police was lathi charging the people who were protesting against the desecration of the temple.
Criticising Revanth Reddy for the way he was dealing with the issue of Group-I mains examination, Kishan Reddy asked the Chief Minister to immediately hold discussions with the agitating job aspirants and resolve the issue amicably.
Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy had interacted with job aspirants at Ashok Nagar library before the assembly polls and assured them that their government would create jobs for them and now, the same Revanth Reddy was ordering lathi charge against the youths, he alleged.
“Why the CM is behaving in a stubborn manner on the issue I don’t know. My humble request is to talk to the youths and resolve the issue at earliest,”he suggested.
