My Village Show’s Gangavva to star in Chiranjeevi’s next film

Hyderabad: Gangavva, the star of My Village Show, a YouTube channel with 2.31 million subscribers – and counting, earned a role in ‘megastar’ Chiranjeevi’s Godfather.

The film is the official Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit Lucifer starring Mohanlal in the lead role.

The former Bigg Boss contestant bagged a short slot for the film that’s currently filming in Ooty.

The grandmother of eight hails from the small village of Lambadipally in Telangana, situated 200 kilometres from Hyderabad.  She was last seen in director Sekhar Kammula’s Love Story.

Directed by Mohan Raja, the movie is being presented by Surekha Konidela and produced jointly by Chiranjeevi’s Konidela Productions and Super Good Films.
