Hyderabad: Team Mysa and T Golf Foundation set up an all-Hyderabad summit clash in the National Amateur Golf League here at the Boulder Hills Golf & Country Club on Friday.
The two Hyderabad teams won their semifinals in contrasting styles on their way to the final.
Chennai Hustlers at the halfway stage seemed down and out but then a spirited fightback coming into the clubhouse saw them take their tie to a 3-hole playoff. In the playoff, a birdie on the 1st won the hole for TGF and subsequent halves sealed a final spot against Team Mysa.
Team Mysa overcame an early scare against Eham before running out comfortable 5-1 winners as the golf course warmed up. Their star singles player Shashidhar Reddy cleaned up yet again to give momentum to Team Mysa.
The final will be played at 7.30 am on Saturday.
Results (semfinals): Team Mysa bt Eham 5-1; TGF tied with Chennai Hustlers 3-3 (TGF won in a three hole playoff).
