Hyderabad: A reporter working for a national news channel was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his house in Chandrayangutta on Monday.

The man Abdul Raheem Bavazir, who worked for ABP news channel, lived with his family at Bandlaguda in Chandrayangutta. According to the police, on Monday afternoon he was alone in the house as his wife and children had gone to her parents’ home. Around 1 pm, when his family members tried to contact him over phone, he did not respond. They reached the house and with the help of neighbours, broke open the door. Bavazir was found lying on the bed with blood oozing from his mouth.

The Chandrayangutta police shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
