N Mukesh Kumar re-appointed Telangana Hockey secretary
Mukesh Kumar, who earlier served as the secretary before resigning to his post, along with the Telangana Hockey team, met Sports Minister for the State V Srinivas Goud on Thursday.
Hyderabad: Triple Olympian N Mukesh Kumar has taken charge as the secretary of the Telangana Hockey after incumbent secretary Alphonse Lazarus quit his post.
Mukesh Kumar, who earlier served as the secretary before resigning to his post, along with the Telangana Hockey team, met Sports Minister for the State V Srinivas Goud on Thursday.
Speaking to the association members, the Minister said the association needs to work on reclaiming the glory of the game of hockey and promised to provide any help from the Government of Telangana.
The Minister further assured that he would help conduct the upcoming national junior boys’ hockey tournament scheduled to be held in the city in June. Telangana Hockey’s treasurer Bhaskar Reddy, senior vice-president Kashi, Palamur association secretary Srinivas Goud and others also met the Minister.
