Hyderabad: N.Ramesh has taken charge as Principal Chief Commercial Manager (PCCM) of South Central Railway at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad.

Ramesh belongs to the 1992 batch of Indian Railways Traffic Service and holds bachelor’s degrees in science and law. Prior to the present assignment, he was working as Chief Claims Officer in South Western Railway.


During his career spanning 30 years, he has held several key positions across Indian Railways such as Sr. Divisional Safety Officer and Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager, Bangalore Division; Director/Public Grievance & Executive Director/Co-ordination to Hon’ble Minister for Railways, New Delhi; Chief Transportation Manager, Chief Commercial Manager and Chief Claims Officer in South Western Railway.

He was empanelled as Joint Secretary, Government of India.
