Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) on Monday named the women’s selection committee for the 2025–26 domestic season, with N Sunita Anand appointed as chairperson.

The other members of the panel are B R Suvarna Laxmi, Nayyar Fatima (Monica Preethi), Harsha Harinarayan, and G Sangeetha.

Telangana High Court-appointed one-man committee for the HCA, Justice P Naveen Rao, emphasised that the panel had been structured to inspire confidence among players and parents, ensuring that selections are made purely on performance, merit, and commitment to the game.

“The Apex Council, while placing its highest priority on transparency, was of the view that selections shall be made fairly irrespective of the circumstances,” he said in a statement.
