Hyderabad: National Academy of Construction, Hyderabad bagged Assocham India’s “Best Institute – Placement Award” for successful placements of trainees under different training programmes.
National Academy of Construction Director General K Bikshapathi received the award on Friday virtually during Education Excellence Summit Expo cum Awards 2022 held at Ranchi. The award was presented by Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais.
NAC has been selected for the award for ensuring successful placements under different training sessions, including Skill Development Training Programme, Finishing School Programme and Post Graduate Diploma Programme for Civil Engineering Graduates for the last three years.
In total, NAC trained 9,466 candidates under different placement linked training programmes and ensured placement to 8,793 candidates. The trainees secured salary package of Rs 2 lakh for Skill Development Training Programme and between Rs 3 to 5 lakh for Civil Engineering Graduates of Finishing School Programme and Post Graduate Diploma Programme in reputed construction companies.
NAC also conducted 41,200 physical training sessions during the last three years successfully and was appreciated by the organisers.
R&B Minister and NAC Vice Chairman Vemula Prashanth Reddy expressed happiness over NAC Hyderabad securing the award. He urged unemployed youth in the State to undergo skill development training programmes, which are offered for free of cost at NAC.
