Hyderabad: Naga Chaitanya’s latest film, Thandel, has become the highest opener of his career, collecting around Rs 17 crores worldwide on its first day.
The film’s theatrical share stood at approximately Rs 12 crores, making it his first-ever double-digit share as a solo lead.
Apart from Naga Chaitanya’s star power, the presence of Sai Pallavi has also contributed to the film’s strong opening, as she is known for her massive fan following.
