Nagarkurnool: Man washed away in irrigation canal

Ramu fell into the KLI canal on the Manganuru outskirts while riding his bike.

Nagarkurnool: A 32-year-old person was swept away in an irrigation canal on the outskirts of Manganuru village on Sunday. Police have launched rescue operations.

A resident of Vaddeman village, Bijnapally, Ramu was heading to Gouraram on his bike on Sunday morning. He fell into the KLI canal on the Manganuru outskirts. Immediately, the locals informed the police and in turn they alerted the rescue team, according to reports.


A police team arrived in the village and has been conducting rescue operations since morning but there was no trace of Ramu so far. The police informed about Ramu’s accident to his wife Lakshmi and their two children.
