Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday said his government is overcoming challenges inherited from the previous YSRCP government and delivered welfare, development and good governance during its two years in office.

The coalition of TDP, Jana Sena and BJP bagged 164 seats in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, relegating YSRCP to just 11 seats in the 2024 polls, paving the way for Naidu to swear in as the CM for the fourth time.

Marking the completion of two years of the NDA government in the state, the chief minister, in a post on X, said, “It has been exactly two years since the people’s government assumed responsibility with the immense trust of five crore people. While the previous government left behind challenges, crises and problems, we have been overcoming them and delivering welfare, development and good governance”.

The CM said that the government’s agenda was to ensure progress for every citizen, every family and every section of society while laying a strong foundation for the state’s future by fulfilling people’s aspirations.

Expressing gratitude on behalf of the people of Andhra Pradesh, the chief minister thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central government for extending support to the state’s development efforts.

He said Andhra Pradesh was moving forward towards the goal of Swarna Andhra with the cooperation of the Centre and the partnership of Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. Naidu also thanked the people of the state for standing by the government during the past two years and sought their continued support and cooperation for implementing more welfare and development programmes in the future.
