Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said on Monday that India’s voice is being heard today with greater confidence and respect across the world than ever before.

He congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for India’s successful hosting of the 18th BRICS Summit.

“I’m delighted that India successfully hosted the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, bringing together some of the world’s leading economies at a time of significant global change,” the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president said in a post on ‘X’.

“The New Delhi Declaration’s focus on stronger multilateral institutions, resilient supply chains, innovation, sustainable development and greater cooperation among emerging economies is particularly significant. These are issues that will shape global growth and prosperity in the decades ahead,” he said.

CM Naidu stated that today’s India has emerged as a trusted platform where nations with diverse perspectives can come together, engage constructively and find common ground. This ability to build consensus, while advancing the interests of the developing world, reflects India’s growing economic strength and stature on the global stage, he observed.

He complimented PM Modi for his leadership in this landmark event. “Today, India’s voice is being heard with greater confidence and respect across the world than ever before!” he added.

Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan posted that the successful conclusion of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi is a moment of immense pride for Bharat. With BRICS nations representing around 50 per cent of the world’s population and 40 per cent of global GDP, the grouping has a significant role in shaping the global economic and geopolitical landscape, he said.

The Jana Sena leader said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Bharat has successfully steered the BRICS Chairship under the theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability”.

He congratulated the Prime Minister, the Ministry of External Affairs, the Government of Bharat, diplomats, officials and every team whose dedicated efforts made this Summit a success.

The Summit strengthened the agenda for economic and financial cooperation, trade, investment, resilient supply chains and development finance, while advancing collaboration in AI, innovation, technology, energy and food security. It also reinforced collective efforts towards peace and security, combating terrorism, climate action, sustainable development and a stronger voice for the Global South. The adoption of the BRICS New Delhi Declaration marks an important step towards translating these shared priorities into meaningful cooperation and action.

“Bharat’s BRICS Chairship has once again demonstrated our nation’s growing confidence and constructive leadership on the global stage. May BRICS continue to build stronger partnerships, create shared opportunities and contribute to a more resilient, inclusive and prosperous world,” he added.
