Nail-biting finishes mark gram panchayat results in Mancherial and Adilabad
Sarpanch elections in Telangana produced nail-biting finishes. Dammuni Sattaiah won Kommugudem village by two votes, Jadhav Jamuna Naik won Dhanora (B) by four votes after a recount, and in Dhaba (B), Narwate Eswar won through a coin toss after a tie.

Mancherial/Adilabad: A Sarpanch candidate won by a margin of just two votes in Kommugudem village of Luxettipet mandal in Mancherial district on Thursday.
Dammuni Sattaiah secured 478 votes, while his rival Motapalkula Gangaiah polled 476 votes out of a total of 1,016 votes cast. Another candidate received 62 votes. Sattaiah, who expressed happiness over the slender margin of his victory, said he would focus on addressing the major challenges of the village.
In a similarly close contest, Jadhav Jamuna Naik won by a margin of four votes from Dhanora (B) village in Indervelli mandal of Adilabad district. She was initially declared to have won by a single vote, but a recount was conducted, after which she gained three additional votes.
In Dhaba (B) village of Echoda mandal, the result was decided by a coin toss after candidates Narwate Eswar of the BRS and his opponent Mane Rameshwar finished with 176 votes each. Eswar won the tie-breaker.
