Nalgonda: ACB traps Neredugommu Revenue Inspector

Nalgonda: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Tuesday caught Mandal Revenue Inspector of Neredugommu, Orsu Ram Srinu, red-handed while accepting Rs 20,000 bribe from a person at his Hanuman Nagar residence in Devarakonda in Nalgonda district.
According to ACB officials, the Revenue Inspector demanded Rs 20,000 from Mudavath Redya to do an official favour in submitting an inquiry report to Tahsildar pertaining to house plots allotted to his wife and mother by the State government.
On a complaint lodged by Mudavath Redya, the ACB officials hatched a plan to catch the Revenue Inspector red-handed while accepting the bribe. They recovered Rs 20,000 from the dickey of his two wheeler at his instance. Fingers of his right hand yielded positive result in the chemical test. The Revenue Inspector performed his duty improperly and dishonestly to obtain undue advantage.
ACB officials arrested the Revenue Inspector and produced him before Additional Special Judge for ACB cases at Hyderabad.
