District Collector Prashant Jeevan Patil and Superintendent of Police A V Ranganath inspected the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s meeting at Haliya on Sunday.
Nalgonda: All the arrangements are in place for Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s meeting at Agriculture Market Yard at Haliya in the district on Monday.
The Chief Minister will arrive at Haliya by helicopter at 10.40 am and participate in a meeting at the Agriculture Market Yard at 10.55 am. During the two hour meeting, he will review the implementation of developmental works and lift irrigation schemes taken up in the Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituency. Sarpanches, ward members of villages, ZPTCs, MPPs and MPTCs have been invited to the meeting. The Chief Minister will also interact with the elected representatives of local bodies at the meeting.
Chandrashekhar Rao will leave for Hyderabad from Haliya at 2.05 pm after having lunch at the residence of Nagarjuna Sagar MLA Nomula Bhagath. Bhagath said the Chief Minister was fulfiling the promise he made during the by-election campaign that he would hold a meeting and discuss the development of the constituency.
