Nalgonda: BRS leaders across the district paid rich tributes to Mahatma Gandhi observing his death anniversary on Thursday and in a symbolic gesture, submitted petitions highlighting the unfulfilled promises of the Congress government. Former Minister and Suryapet MLA G Jagadish Reddy, along with BRS party Nalgonda district president and former Devarakonda MLA Ramavath Ravindra Kumar, paid homage to Bapuji and placed memoranda before his statues.

They also pointed out that the Congress government has failed to provide the promised 2 lakh government jobs to the youth and has not fulfilled the loan waiver promises made to farmers.

The event saw the participation of several local leaders, including former district Rythu Bandhu president Chinta Reddy Srinivas Reddy, former AMC chairmen Dhanavath Chittibabu Naik and Bairam Sampath, senior BRS party leaders Yadavelli Srinivas Reddy, Jonnalagadda Ranga Reddy, Md. In Miryalaguda, on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary, MLC M C Kotireddy submitted a petition at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, protesting against the Congress government’s deceptive rule for 420 days.
