Nalgonda: All roads led to the Cheruvugattu shrine in Nalgonda district for the Brahmotshavam festival of Sri Parvati Jadala Ramalingeswara Swamy on Wednesday. The event drew large crowds of devotees eager to witness the grand ceremony. Serpentine queues were witnessed as the devotees made a beeline patiently waited to make the sacred rice offerings to the presiding deity.
Police made extensive security arrangements for the event, ensuring safety of the devotees. Only authorized vehicles were permitted to the temple. Among the attendees were Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham and his wife while several other dignitaries joined the worship of the deities on the special occasion. The Kalyanotshavam of Sri Parvati Jadala Ramalingeswara Swamy was performed as part of the Brahmotsavam in the early hours of the day.
