Hyderabad: Nalgonda recorded a four-wicket win against Warangal in the Kaka Venkataswamy Memorial Telangana Inter-district T-20 cricket championship being held at different grounds across the State.
Batting first, Warangal scored 163 for five in 20 overs with K Rohith (36) being the top-scorer, while P Kranthi (four for 30) was the lead wicket-taker for Nalgonda.
In reply, Nalgonda reached home with one ball to spare and six wickets down, thanks to G Prakash’s impressive 85.
In another match, Khammam defeated Mahabubnagar by 13 runs under the VJD Method.
Khammam, batting first, scored 152 for eight in 20 overs with Bunny (35) and N Shiva (32) being the lead scorers, while T Harish was the pick of the bowlers with three for 37.
In reply, Mahabubnagar finished at 119 for seven in 17 overs when play was stopped, with A Rafaey (32) and V Akash (33) batting well.

Khammam 152/8 in 20 overs (N Teja 21, Bunny 36, N Shiva 32, T Harish 3/37, Md Shadab 2/15) bt Mahabubnagar 119/7 in 17 overs (A Rafaey 32, Aaryan 26, V Akash 33, V Siddharth 2/11). Khammam won by 13 runs – VJD Method.
Nizamabad 162/6 in 20 overs (M. Rithwik 54, J. Vikram 84, G. Eshwar 3/33) bt Ranga Reddy 160/8 in 20 overs (K. Praneet 21, S. Vaishnav 60, A. Pranav 29, N. Ritesh 2/27, M. Pratheek 2/37, R. Lalith 2/23).
Hyderabad 68 in 13.4 overs (V. Vineeth 21, Varun Tej 5/13, K. Dhruva 2/13) lost to Medak 69/2 in 6.4 overs (Billal Hussain 44).
