Nalgonda: A disabled person was hacked to death by a woman and her son at Padamathi thanda of Dindi mandal in Nalgonda on Monday.
The victim was identified as Pula Srinu (45), who was born without the upper limbs. Rathalavath Pandu and her son Suresh attacked Srinu with axes in front of his house, killing him on the spot. After the incident, the mother and son fled from the scene. It is learnt that rivalry between the two families was the motive behind the attack. .
On getting information, Dindi police rushed to the spot and shifted Srinu’s body to area hospital in Devarakonda for autopsy. A case has been filed and search for the accused is on.
