Farmers performing ksheerabhishekam to CM K Chandrashekhar RAo's portrait at Nalgonda on Wednesday
Nalgonda: Farmers performed ksheerabhishekam to the portrait of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at Kattangur for issuing orders for speedy completion of Udhaya Samudram Balancing Reservoir (Brahmana Vellemla project). They raised slogans hailing the Chief Minister.
Speaking on the occasion, Kattangur ZPTC member Tarala Balaramulu said that Brahmana Vellemla project would provide irrigation facility to one lakh acres in Nalgonda, Nakrekal and Munugode Assembly constituencies. He exuded confidence that the orders of the Chief Minister would also lead to early completion of the project, which will solve irrigation facility problem in the area. The Chief Minister has also instructed officials to speed up the works of Pilaipally and Dharma Reddy canals, he pointed out.
Meanwhile, anganwadi workers and unemployed youth also performed ksheerabhishekam to the portrait of the Chief Minister at Suryapet for his decision to hike salaries of government employees and to fill vacant posts in all departments.
