Nalgonda: Principal of St Ann’s High School, George Joseph died of a heart stroke on Saturday after recovering from Covid.
He was suffering from post Covid complications and collapsed at his residence around noon. He was treated for Covid in a hospital at Hyderabad from September 2 to 8. After recovery, he returned to Nalgonda on September 9. The staff of the school found him collapsed in his residence on the premises of the school. When he was shifted to a local hospital by an ambulance, doctors declared him dead on arrival.
His death created panic among the parents as three other teachers had also tested positive before opening of the school. St Ann’s High School has a strength of more than 3,000 students and is one of the top schools in Nalgonda.
