TRSV leaders lodging a complaint to police at Nalgonda against the Congress leaders Jagga Reddy on Thursday.
Nalgonda: TRSV leaders on Thursday lodged a complaint with Nalgonda Town-II police station against Congress leader Turupu Jagga Reddy for making baseless allegations against Energy Minister G Jagdish Reddy.
The TRSV members led by State secretary Bommaraboina Nagarjuna submitted a the complaint to Sub-Inspector of Nalgonda Town-II police station.
Later, speaking to the media, Nagarjuna said the comments made by Jagga Reddy against the minister were an attempt to tarnish his image. “It is unfortunate that the senior Congress leader resorted to personal allegations against the Minister,” he said, and demanded that Jagga Reddy withdraw his comments or face the wrath of the people of the State.
In Suryapet, TRSV leaders also burnt the effigy of Jagga Reddy at Telangana Thalli statue and raised slogans against him.
TRSV district coordinator Mudireddy Anil Reddy said that that the people of Telangana well known about the political history of Jagga Reddy, who was a traitor of Telangana agitation. Jagga Reddy had no moral rights to criticize the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and minister G Jagdish Reddy, whose commitment on the cause of Telangana statehood was not questionable.
