Nalgonda: District Collector Prashant Jeevan Patil on Sunday said that COVID vaccination for teens between 15 and 18 years would begin at government hospitals and Primary Health Centres (PHCs) in Nalgonda district from Monday.

Prashant Jeevan Patil, in a press release, said that the children, who were born before January 1, 2007, were eligible for the vaccine jabs as per the guidelines issued by the government. Covaxin would be administered to the children in this age group. The parents should come to the vaccination center along with their children with Aadhar card or any other identity card. He asked the parents to complete the vaccination of their children aged between 15 and 18 years immediately in view of the spread of Omicron.
