Nalgonda: Woman alleges rape, blackmail; Police launch investigation

Nalgonda: The Huzurnagar police registered a case against three individuals, including a woman, in connection with the alleged rape and blackmail of a woman on March 7.
The accused, identified as N. Pramodh Kumar, reportedly befriended the victim with the assistance of another woman, Roja. According to police reports, the victim was lured to a remote location under false pretenses and taken to a local lodge, where she was allegedly forced into intoxication and subsequently raped. While in an unconscious state, the victim was photographed by the accused. The accused later used these photographs to blackmail her, threatening to expose the images if she did not comply with his demands. The ordeal escalated when the accused, along with his girlfriend and another accomplice, attempted to abduct the victim again. When she resisted, she was allegedly beaten and further threatened with the circulation of her photographs among her acquaintances.
The victim approached the Huzurnagar police, who registered a case and initiated an investigation.
