NALSAR University students demand accountability over NEET paper leak

Students of NALSAR University observed a one-meal solidarity fast in support of the hunger strike over the NEET paper leak and education-related issues. They demanded accountability, called for democratic engagement and announced a postcard campaign to the Union Government.

Hyderabad: Students of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, in a show of solidarity with the hunger strike by students and Sonam Wangchuk over the NEET paper leak and issues relating to education in India in New Delhi, observed a solidarity protest on the campus on Monday. The students observed a collective one-meal solidarity fast.

The protest expressed disappointment over the continued silence of the State and called for accountability in response to the concerns raised by various student groups and unions. Students reiterated that peaceful dissent is an essential part of a constitutional democracy and that the State cannot remain unresponsive to voices seeking justice and accountability.
