Nampally court dismisses Sakala Janula Samme case against KCR, KTR

Hyderabad: The Nampally court dismissed a case registered against BRS chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao along with party working president KT Rama Rao in connection with the Sakala Janula Samme during the Telangana statehood movement.
BRS Legal Cell member and advocate Jakkula Laxman, who argued the case, said he had been handling Telangana movement-related cases since 2009 and was also representing in the Sakala Janula Samme and train roko cases. He said the case was originally registered by Banjara Hills police in 2011 against Chandrashekhar Rao, KT Rama Rao, former deputy Speaker T Padma Rao, MLCs Dasoju Sravan, Shambhipur Raju, Prof M Kodandaram and others for participating in the strike call.
