Hyderabad: Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna was on Tuesday rushed to CARE hospital Banjara Hills after he complained of extreme pain on his right shoulder.

A team of doctors led by Dr Raghuveer Reddy performed a four-hour surgery on Balayya. It is learned that the surgery to the shoulder muscle tendons was successfully performed.

It is learnt that the actor has been struggling with pain on his right shoulder for the past six months.  According to reports, the senior star is ready to get discharged anytime. 
On the work front, Balakrishna has an upcoming movie ‘Akhand’ which is in post-production stage.
