Nara Lokesh felicitates archer Jyothi Surekha Vennam ahead of Asian Games
Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh felicitated archer Jyothi Surekha Vennam after her selection for the upcoming Asian Games, marking her fourth appearance. Surekha thanked the state government for support and expressed confidence of returning with a strong medal-winning performance.
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh felicitated ace archer Jyothi Surekha Vennam on being selected to represent India in the forthcoming Asian Games.
For Surekha, it will be her fourth appearance in the Asiad.
Mr. Lokesh congratulated Surekha on her achievements and wished that she would bring laurels for the country in the Asian Games.
Surekha, who was accompanied by her father Vennam Surendra Kumar, thanked the Andhra Pradesh Government for the continued support and said she would do her best to win medals in the Asian Games.
“It is an honour to represent India in such a prestigious Games and I hope to come back with a memorable performance,” said Surekha,who is also Deputy Collector in the Andhra Pradesh Government.
