Nara Lokesh to visit Russia, pitch AP as global investment hub

Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh will visit Russia from June 2-7 and attend the St Petersburg International Economic Forum. He is expected to meet global investors and industry leaders to promote Andhra Pradesh and attract investments across key sectors

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh will visit Russia from June 2 to 7 to attract investments to the state. During the visit, Lokesh will participate in the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF’26), one of Russia’s premier global business and investment events.

“Lokesh to visit Russia from June 2 to June 7 with the objective of attracting investments,” said an official press release on Sunday. The minister has been invited to attend the forum in St Petersburg, where business leaders, policymakers and industry representatives from across the world are expected to participate.


As part of his tour, Lokesh will hold meetings with several leading industrialists and investors to showcase investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh.

The visit is aimed at promoting the state as an investment destination and attracting projects across key sectors, the press release added.
