Narappa to hit screens this summer

Venkatesh Daggubati’s much-awaited film Narappa is likely to hit screens this summer. The movie is a Telugu remake of Tamil original Dhanush starrer Asuran which was loosely inspired by the real incidents of Kilvenmani massacre which occurred in Nagapattinam district of Tamil Nadu in 1968.
Producer Suresh Babu and Kalaippuli S Thanu are jointly producing Naarappa under Suresh Productions Pvt Ltd and V Creations banners while Srikanth Addala is directing the film. The makers have recently released the movie poster on the occasion of Sankranti.
Award Winning actor Priyamani is reprising the role of Manju Warrier in Asuran. C/O Kancharapalem fame Karthik Ratnam is playing a key character in the movie. Actors Rao Ramesh and Rajiv Kanakala are among others who are part of the cast. Music is being rendered by Mani Sharma and Shyam K Naidu is the cinematographer.
