Hyderabad: The National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI), Hyderabad chapter, is organising a free webinar on ‘Jagruktha Abhiyan for Covid-19 Pandemic’from 11 am to 2 pm on Wednesday, former Director of CCMB and Chairman, NASI, Hyderabad chapter, Dr Ch Mohan Rao on Tuesday said.
The programme will feature six short talks by Dr Anurag Agrawal, Director, IGIB, on ‘Genomic Surveillance; Dr Rakesh K Mishra, former Director, CCMB, on ‘Variants and the Pandemic’; Dr Neeraj Nischal, AIIMS, New Delhi on ‘Living with the virus-the way forward’; Dr VP Kamboj, former Director, CDRI, on ‘Vaccine hesitancy, a key hindrance in achieving herd immunity’; Dr Bhanuprakash Reddy, scientist-head, Division of Biochemistry, NIN, Hyderabad, on ‘Immunity and nutrition in the context of Covid-19’; and Dr VM Katoch, NASI-ICMR chair and former DG, ICMR, on ‘Continued fight against Covid-19: Bridging the gap between knowledge and practice’.
