Hyderabad: Natco Trust in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and GHMC has set up a 40-bed community isolation centre at Natco Government School in Site-3 at Borabanda in the city.
The Centre was inaugurated by Maganti Gopinath, Jubilee Hills MLA and Borabanda corporator Baba Fasiuddin.
They appreciated the efforts of Natco Trust and CII in arranging the community isolation center, which helps in arresting the spread of Cvoid. GHMC has plans to come up with many community isolation centres across Hyderabad, they said.
People who could not opt for home isolation can move to community isolation centres. Isolating patients who have mild or moderate conditions could get treated at the isolation centres and hospital beds could be made available for patients who are critical.
The isolation centre is equipped with 24/7 medical care support, separate wards for male and female patients and nutritious meals are being arranged. Further details can be had over phone at 72073-22967.
CII is extending all support to the affected people during times of such crisis. The interventions of CII include awareness building regarding hygiene practices, and distribution of personal protective equipment, hygiene kits and arranging meals to the needy people, said Subhajit Saha, Director, CII Telangana.
Rambabu, Head-CSR, Natco Trust also joined the inauguration programme, a release said.
