National Industrial Security Academy wins cricket tourney

National Industrial Security Academy wins cricket tourney

Hyderabad: The National Industrial Security Academy (NISA) team, led by their director CV Anand, won the Freedom T20 Blue League Edition at Dmarc Stadium, Hakimpet on Sunday.

NISA Director’s XI defeated the Gentlemen’s XI by 25 runs in the finals of the tournament. Anand, who played for Hyderabad under-25 team in his playing days, was declared the man of the match, while Nitish Chauhan and Ashok Kumar won the best batsman and best bowler of the series awards


The tournament was conducted in order to promote sports culture in the academy. A total of eight teams took part in the tournament. Anand praised the organisers of Freedom T20 league for conducting the tournament in the best manner possible while taking all the precautions of Covid-19.
