National Lok Adalat on September 13: Settle pending civil and criminal cases without legal fees
The National Lok Adalat will be held across Telangana on September 13, offering citizens a chance to settle civil and compoundable criminal cases without incurring legal fees. Organised from the High Court to Taluk level, the initiative allows for both physical and virtual participation.

Hyderabad: For settlement of all kinds of civil and compoundable criminal cases litigation and pending litigation cases, the National Lok Adalat will be conducted at all levels from High Court to Taluk level on September 13, Saturday, across the state.
The Lok Adalat is rendering services without any expenditure or fee. The court fee, if any, paid in the pending cases will be refunded, if the matter is settled through Lok Adalat, a press release said, adding that no appeal lies against the award passed in Lok Adalat.
Telangana State Legal Services Authority Member Secretary Ch Panchakshari urged people to avail the benefits of the Lok Adalat mechanism for settlement of their cases in the ensuing National Lok Adalat, which will be held in physical and virtual mode.
People willing to settle their pending cases or pre-litigation cases can approach the chairman/secretary of district level services authority, Nyaya Seva Sadan in district court complex or nearest mandal legal services committee or nearest court.
