National Science Day: NASA’s virtual tour, lab activities organised
The recent achievement of NASA's rover safe and successful landing was shown through a virtual tour to the students.

Akshara Vaagdevi International School in collaboration with Pallavi Model School celebrated National Science Day on February 27, virtually across all grades. This day recalls the notable invention “Raman Effect” by India’s greatest scientist C V Raman.
He was awarded the Nobel Prize for this discovery in the year 1930. The theme for this year’s National Science Day celebration is “Future of STI: Impacts on Education, Skills and Work”. Class activities about the efforts and achievements in the field of science for the welfare of human beings were discussed and PPTs were presented.
The recent achievement of NASA’s rover safe and successful landing was shown through a virtual tour to the students. Class X students participated in the lab activities using chemicals to know the process of the chemical reaction.
Primary students participated in an online quiz to know about CV Raman and his achievements. Students from all classes enthusiastically participated which helped them to enhance their scientific curiosity and develop an interest in the subject.
